    Road trip to Bhutan requires atleast 5days. I have taken road trip from Bagdogra to Bhutan ( I did Thimphu and paro) because road on hills becomes more time consuming. one should plan it for 7 days to start off til the end.

    Same, we went from new jalpaiguri (road trip) west bengal. and train to Kolkata will take another 36 hrs. I read in some news, March or either April onwards, Bhutan will levy tax(14k) to enter. hotels you may find from 2k plus and food is economical too.
