Meghalaya called as paradise spot in India, October to June is the best time to visit. Summers are ideal time to visit besides winters.

Visit it in December or January, because in winter you'll see beautiful cherry blossom nd also hiking mountain and exploring caves is very enjoyable during. winter without any problem. Also the waterfalls give beautiful view from above.

April to June - Pleasantly warm
July to September - Moderate to heavy rainfall
October to November - Cool and humid
My favourite is December to February - Cold winds and misty mornings
