Exploring Jodhpur could be very easy ... You could stay at Zostel Jodhpur which has a great view of meherangarh fort from it's roof top reaturents .. try to arrive at Jodhpur in early morning .. get ready with your backpack with little snacks and water and other stuffs you need. If you are staying at Zostel Jodhpur, first visit "Toorji ka jhalra" . It takes around 2-3 mins walk from Zostel. Then go to Umaid bhaban palace. There's not much to explore .. finish it off soon. This is little far away from other places to visit on Jodhpur . so finish it first . ##the most beautiful place of jodhpur# then around 1-2 o clock in afternoon, reach the base of meherangarh fort. ( you could go to meherangarh fort by walk from Zostel jodhpur , it takes around 20-25 mins) . Exploring fort is a great experience , probably one of the best and very well maintained fort in Rajasthan .you will get Blue city view from here and don't forget to enjoy the street Rajasthani folk singers singing songs inside fort here and there .. complete it by 4-5 .. . you could go to Jaswant Thada by walk from meherangarh fort. it takes around 15-20 mins. explore the place and enjoy sunset from there .. now take an auto and (should not charge you more than 100 RS) and go to Ghanta Ghar .. The market around is called Sardar market .. I guess that's pretty much all of Jodhpur ..

Apart from Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and other monuments ask your hotel to organize a village safari to 'Bishnoi Village'. They are oldest and native tribes of Jodhpur area. You can shop for some authentic handicrafts also.
