You can visit Rock Beach and take a walk along the beach road. Also, don't miss Paradise Island - it's very beautiful.
Mahabalipuram is near to Pondicherry so you can cover that as well. In addition to this, one simply cannot miss visiting Auroville - extremely beautiful and peaceful.
