Its worth buying any gopro for travellers. It's really a good investment i feel personally. One of my good friend having gopro 5 black which is so awesome. It's POV makes you fall into love again with travelling. Just go ahead.

Go for it awesome i do have go pro 5. go pro 7 is just so awesome the videos are so smooth and stabilized like shoot with a gimbal.

Ya I read there are some heating issues in the high quality video. Bt gopro 7 comes with a feature which helps to turn off the camera when the temperature is too much. Which kinda saves your camera. Bt this feature is not there in gopro 5 n 6
