First of all u should have proper 1st aid kit with you(medicine,savlon etc),plz provide your booking detail(hotel name,phone number) to your family member for emergency purpose,carry less electronic items it become very messy and headache to carry all stuff.Carry id proof with you and add name tag to your bags with basic details.I think this will be enough.Take care and enjoy the trip.
You have to buy medicines and a first aid kit and keep it on your back pack .According to the place and the length of the trip ,you should plan your clothes and money .Should plan the medium of travel and stay options .It is good to have a smart phone . Because you can capture photographs and sometimes you can use google for your travel queries and also for your language problems .Beware of pickpockets , it will be safer if you keep your money in different portions..like most needed money in your purse and rest is in your backpack.Also..don't forget to take the necessary documents of yours

Normal clothes/ Beach wears and few warm ones if you feel cold always ., Medicines. and for personal safety carry pepper spray and similar stuffs, always on your handbag(Just for your personal safety ,just in case, though Goa Is Safe ) Extra Mobile phone , power banks, cash in hand and in backup (keep in luggage after. reaching hotel) . Always stay aware. Dont put earphones while walking. Put your money in separated places. Dont take too much luggage. Take your important documents with you. Put wallet in front pocket of pants while traveling in public transport.Download offline maps on your phone before traveling. Download useful apps like google maps, google trips, redbus, Ola, u?ber, trip advisor etc. keep your mobile charged, take powerbank with you. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Dont get drunk while solo traveling. Tie a knot of straps of bag to your leg/arm while sleeping.
