Traveling in Mountains is always great experience. Yes it's safe traveling in mountain area now. However do a proper test (RT-PCR) yourself before visiting. As those remote area are sensitive and we should always protect those area and those beautiful people as well as ourselves. You have not mentioned which mountain range you are planning to visit?
