Patnitop is 2 hours away from Udhampur. It is better to book a cab or taxi or shared taxi. Buses don’t operate much between these two spots. Kindly check once in Udhampur local bus station too.

Hello Bhanu, have been to Udhampur and Patnitop this April and it is a beautiful place.
We took a private cab from Udhampur costing us Rs 2k one way.
The road is very scenic.
We stayed at Hotel Green Top and it is a beautiful place.
Feels like heaven.
1 day is enough to roam around Patnitop and next day you can go to Sanasar lake and then descend towards Udhampur.
