Leave delhi around night time,take bus to haridwar so that you can reach haridwar early morning, from haridwar you will get sharing taxi to joshimath(but remember you have to leave. haridwar before 6 am)..then from joshimath you have two option eaither go by ropeway or again hire taxi till auli..its 10km diatance only....

From delhi first you have to reach Rishikesh or delhi from there you can hire a private cab to reach auli.
