We are planning for kodaikanal from Coimbatore through self drive car. I would like to know how the ghat road would be. is it advisable to go self drive ?

Hey Pradeep, The ghata road is wide enough for buses to take turns ... as you say you are self driving see that you know a good driving ... Apart from that it's all fine to go in car and you will for sure enjoy the stretch towards the hill station. Happy and safe Travelling Bro!!!

You can self drive if you are confident enough. Just avoid to drive in night on those hair pin bends.
