Hey, Weather will continue to remain very cold; with temperatures ranging between -5 Degrees at night and 15 Degrees Celsius during the day. Most of the Dhabas and hotels remain closed at this time. Hence it is strongly advised that you call in advance and inquire about your stay.

Madhura, I will check with my friend who lives there and confirm u..!!
Hi ... Madhura ... if you planning to visit Chopta then no need to worry । joshimath is other side chopta is other side । places like auli , velly of flowers, hemkund sahib gurdwara, badrinath temple will be effected by joshimath incident but Chopta is towards kedarnath mean to say it's on different road you definitely can go for it । joshimath will not come in your way if you are going to chopta , tungnath temple, chandrashila peak etc ।

Hey, went there during May-end/June and the conditions were really good back then. Just try not to visit near the rainy season, it's safe otherwise. You can also plan for Tungnath and Chandrashila. :)
