Hey Athithyan, Visit Kaziranga first and then go ahead to majuli island... Kaziranga is famous for one horn rhinoceros and there are two ways to spot them in the park. One would be to take an elephant safari early morning at 4.30 and the other would be through a Jeep Safari ... I would suggest you to take how chance with both of them as if you are unlucky in your first attempt to spot wild animals you will for sure spot them in second ... Majuli being the biggest rivet island in the world.. don't forget to get a splendid sun set view and also the moon rise here... watch a lot of birds those migrate through the island... Don't miss to stay in a bamboo hit on the river shore.... stay in kamalabari for a good stay and access to all places in island ... Lastly if possible see the raas mahotsav which is a must do thing in majuli ... then go to bondila and Visit bomdila Monastery .. lower gompa bomdila , bomdila view point and other places .... then go for ziro for a day to visit all the valleys and grasslands .... after ziro go to Tawang and look out for bhalukpong, sela pass , Tawang Monastery, Tawang war memorial, Tawang war museum.... Hope the information helps you to plan your itinerary .. Happy Travelling !!!

There are many places to visit in Northeast India... Each of the 7 states hold some truly magnificent places that you can't miss... In Assam you can visit Guwahati which is the hub of North eastern states and the gateway to North East... You can visit the national parks like Kaziranga, Manas, Pobitora etc. where you can find the famous one horned rhino along with other wildlifes.... You can visit Sivsagar which is a historic place of the Ahom dynasty where you can find some old temples and buildings like Sivadol, Joydol, Tolatol ghor, Ronghor etc.... You can visit Haflong which is mesmerizing in its natural beauty.... In Meghalaya you can visit Shillong, the rain capital Cherapunjee, the cleanest village in Asia Mawlynong etc... You can enjoy some mesmerizing falls, hills and have some adventure by trekking in forests, hills, caves etc... In Arunachal we have Tawang which is said to be the Switzerland of the Northeast.... You can visit Ziro, Bomdilla, Menchuka, Mayudia and the list goes on... Along with its natural beauty it holds some largest and most beautiful Buddhist monasteries.... In Nagaland also we have some beautiful places but specially Zoko valley which is a green lush in the summer and a carpet of snow in the winter.... In the other states also there are some beautiful places which is a must visit in a lifetime.... Along with all the scenic beauty of Northeast there are some very large and famous festivals are organized in Northeast like Hornbill Festival in Nagaland, Orange Festival in Dambuk Arunachal, Menchuka festival in Menchuka Arunachal and many more... The North eastern states are true treasures of India I must say... But the tourism is not promoted much of this region... Words cannot describe these places... It must be felt...
