According to my experience, Dhanaulti is the best place to visit around Mussoorie. Do visit there for awesome step farming scenes and nature garden. Kempty falls isn't going to be worth it, but if you're gonna hire a bike, you must visit that place since the smoothly curvy way to the falls is too stupendous for a bike ride.

So everyone will suggest to go to Kempty fall but it’s too crowded and sometimes dirty Also. Following are my fav 1. Mossy falls 2. Lal Tibba( red hill in local language, and there is one Telescope though which you can enjoy its view ) 3. Dhanaulti 4. Camel’s back road ( beautiful walk by hills) 5. 9/10 km away Jharpani falls. 6. Mall Road for food ( over crowded ) Places to eat 1. JW cafe 2. Urban turban bistro 3. Cash Mia bakery 4. Chick chocolate ( must have kit kat shake ) 5. Domma’s inn for tibetian food

Apart from the places suggested you could meet and get the autograph of the famous author Ruskin Bond. He sits at the Cambridge Book Depo on Saturday between 3pm -4pm.
