    There are no direct train, you have to go to colombo and change, which will be time taking

    I recently completed the trip and i must say that there are loads of travel option. private taxi costs around 12000-14000 lkr. There are share taxis as well. No need to look for anything else There are private transport options from Ella to Arugam bay as well just for 2000 lkr.
