Hi, There are many beautiful cafes and restaurants in Mussoorie that are full of people, noise, and food. I visited the Queen of Hills (as Mussoorie is popularly called) in March 2025, and experienced people visiting these cafes not to feel but to flaunt on social media. My suggestions 1. Tavern restaurant; Pretty old establishment but known for classy Pahadi cuisine, right on the mall road. It has an amazing Bakery shop on the ground floor 2. Cafe Hinge: Cute and charming and delicious food, nothing Indian but cafe food comprising burgers, pizzas, Fries 3. Llama restaurant: The chicken rice bowl is simple but immensely filling. Unfortunately they close right on time at 9pm so be there on time..

1. Savoy - it's the epitome of luxury, it's in the heritage hotel which was the oldest existing hotels of the hill station. The food along with ambience makes it absolutely worth it. It's a lot more than a resturant, it's an experience. We had veg platter and Dal makhani and Naan. It was the best Veg platter and Dal Makhani I ever had. Fun story: long long ago it was considered as haunted and remained abandoned for years before it was restored beautifully. Also Agatha Christie mentions about this very place in her crime thrillers. It's located at library chowk. 2. Jeet Restaurant: Unlike Savoy it's the most humble places to eat but putting it in my must visit list as it the only place which serves authentic Pahadi Thali that too at a very affordable price. Don't expect an amazing ambience but absolutely neat and clean. Right at library chowk. 3. Rokeby Manor: This one is tucked in the quaint mountains of Landour. It was a old colonial bungalow now converted into a posh resort and restaurant. The prices are absolutely reasonable given the ambience of the place and cost for one person won't come beyond Rs 500. It's absolutely beautiful having surreal views. The food is good too. 4. Char Dukan: Everyone's favourite. Named Char Dukan as there has always been four shops. Cute, outdoorsy place to eat, must visit. They serve amazing pancakes, chilly cheese toast and ginger lemon honey tea is the best 5. Lal Tibba restaurant: this one in particular for the best view of snow capped Himalayas visible throughout the year on a clear day. They also have a telescope. Go there during the sunset :)
