From nainital you can take a bus to kathgodam and then take a bus or train to haridwar then you can take a bus from haridwar to joshimath or haridwar to rishikesh and then joshimath then from joshimath you can travel in local transport to auli

Go by train to Auli from Nainital to reach in 2 hours. Rishikesh is the nearest railway station.There are no direct flights or trains or buses between Rishikesh to Joshimath.The convenient and fastest way to reach from Rishikesh to Joshimath is to take a taxi from Rishikesh to Joshimath.

You have to hire taxi from Dehradun. Don't go via Nainital. You can take buses from Haridwar and Rishikesh.

Road is the only way to reach Auli. Rishikesh is the nearest rail head. From here, you can hire a cab, or use public transport to reach Auli.
