April to October. If you want to experience snow then Jan nd Feb are good.

It's dicey, as roads can be closed due to winters. It depends on your liking, if you like snow then you can enjoy in winters too.

Well, it would be incorrect to say that one should only visit Kashmir in Autumn or Winter... Yes, it's damn beautiful out their in those two climatic conditions but my friend what would be soothing to eyes than Kashmir, it's valley and the rich greenery that it has in Spring's... Will you even be able to enjoy in that temperature outside in Winters?? Be truthful to yourself...
