You can visit between December to February..that will perfect time to visit Darjeeling.. I visit this year, during football world cup. and I will visit Darjeeling again during world cup. You can enjoy with local public..for me that would be most memorable tour through out my life..

Hey Elizabeth, Best time to visit Darjeeling is in summers but you can also visit in winters as well if you want to enjoy the cold weather ( less crowd+low rates). Carry winter clothes with you like jackets, woolen socks, woolen caps, gloves, warm inners, moisturizers, first-aid kit etc. In one day trip of Darjeeling you can cover 3+7 points in which 3 points are covered before 7AM and 7 are covered after breakfast to evening. 3 Points : 1)Tiger Hill ( Sunrise )

3)Batasia Loop 7Points : 1)Japanese Temple
2)Peace Pagoda
3)Zoological Park

Summer is the best time but if you go in winter it is a bit off season, so will cost you less.

Darjeeling hills are opened whole year.But, if u love cold then plan between November to Feb.
Have some spare time and visit Kalimpong too for para gliding experience@ Rs2500/person only.
