If you wish to bring your own bike for Ladakh Expedetion Then Stay Meals and IL Permits would cost 14999/- And With rentals for solo it goes up to 29999/-
We are leaving on around 15th August, Kindly Let us know if you wish to ride with us.
It al depends on you. if you go on your own and not from any touring company then its cheaper. Also it depends on how you travel (own vehicle, sharing with friends, public transport). You can carry your own tent and camp when possible to make it budget friendly trip.
Budget for any trip depends on many factors such personal preferences which impacts the most, number of persons travelling, season etc. I went to ladakh during August and I think it was ideal time to visit it due to pleasant weather, post September the snowfall and winter might ruin your plans. Let me help you by breaking down the cost expenditure: Stay: Budget/Average homestay or guesthouse will cost 1000-1500 Food: Below 500 per day, depends on your taste buds
Bike rental: 700-1000 for moped, 1000-2000 for bullet & cruiser bikes(changes every year and they have strong union about this in Leh)
Public transport: cheapest of all but availability will be a concern
Taxi: Costliest option to travel in Ladakh but also comfortable and convenient. Though I would personally prefer having Bike rather than a car.
Flights: Flights to Leh will be costly as the airport of Leh is jointly a military venture. Can go by road from srinagar or manali but will be bit tiring and long journey.
Other expenses: Since inner line permits have now been removed you wont be needing that to travel around Ladakh. Feel free to ping in case of any other concern.
