We did a 4D3N trip to Udaipur from Mumbai. The total cost for this was 25k for a couple. This included traveling via train 3AC tickets to and fro, stay, food and local travel/exploring Udaipur.

If depends on how much amount you consider to be minimum, but for a general answer i would say 5k is enough for 2 day budget trip. This will include to and fro in sleeper, stay in hostels and budget food.
And If you want a semi luxurious trip 15k is a good amount for 2-3 day trip, with decent hotel and food in some famous restaurants.
