If you want to enjoy something spicy you can go for misal pav or vada pav. These are abundantly available in Mumbai. Beware of the spicy misal which can give you tears if you are not accustomed to eating spicy food. If you are a person of less adventourous nature then you can try Kanda or Batata Poha in Mumbai. However if you are looking for a heavy and satisfying meal you can try Idlis, Dosas, Upmas and Uttapams. To try these South Indian dishes I suggest you visit any restaurant in Matunga, however almost all restaurants in Mumbai serve these. However if you a have a sweet tooth you can try Jalebi Fafda.
There are plenty of vadas and the Batata Pohe are something’s one just won’t resist. Do not forget the hara chutney! A little spice won’t do much harm.
