Spiti is best in every season. it's depend on you what do u want to experience.. for snow capped mountains try winter expedition otherwise visit in July or August..

Autumn is beautiful. Try Mid Sept to Mid November, it will be cold though

There are two times that you can visit Spiti valley is first from June to July and then January- February for snow
