It is celebrated on 14th january every year. However in Rann of Kutch it’s from November 12th to February 28th this year.

The International Kite Festival is always held at Ahmedabad on January 14 to celebrate the festival of Uttarayan or Makar Sankranti!! There is no celebration of the Kite Festival at Rann of Kutch Utsav!! Enjoy 🙌

Rann of Kutch gets it's final dates for Kite Festival in Starting of January and usually 3 to 4 days before 14th January Kite Flyers start gathering at Rann for the event.
