I am assuming you are traveling from Bangalore. You can take Hampi to express for Hospet from Bangalore, it will cost you around Rs.240 for sleeper class. From hospet, you will get a bus for Hampi which take around some 20rs and you can reach Hampi in 40–50 min. Hotels and guest houses are available from 400–500rs for a day, you can rent a bike for 200–300rs for a day to explore nearby places, the cycle is also available for 100rs. there are plenty of options for eating out and you can manage in 100rs per meal max. So total you can manage a nice weekend in Hampi in less 2k easily. Happy Travelling!!

Hi Anusha, Best time to visit : Best time to visit Hampi is from October to February as the temperature is pleasant throughout the day. You can also visit during the monsoon season, but you have to be careful while walking on the boulders as they become quite slippery. Avoid visiting Hampi in summers, as it is scorching and dry. Budget : It depends on from where you travelling. Average of 6-7 k budget should be. Places to visit : Virupaksha Temple, Hampi Matanga Hill Vijaya Vittala Temple Hemakuta Hill Temple Achyutaraya Temple Happy Travelling! Thanks, Yasmin

Hello Anusha. Hampi is crown jewel of south India. Their is no specific time to visit. It’s good to visit 365. But check the weather before leaving to the places. Monsoon will be least preferable and winters are more preferable. But every season shown its own beauty in that place. Happy travelling:)
