I suggest it would be nice to rent a villa or something in the outskirts such as lonavala, kamshet etc etc..... since you are going with your friends, you'll can split the expenses and make it economical for everyone ! Also, you'll will have the whole place to yourselves and that in itself is a different kind of thrill !

Try Manila (Almora district)...not a tourist spot...350 km from Delhi via Ramnagar...for fun, u can try trekking from Manila to market at Bhikiyasen....although roads are here, yet u can try the old trekking route through the thick jungle which people used (and still using) when there were no roads..
