Kollur Mookambika temple is a temple dedicated to Mookambika devi, commonly known as Durga devi. This place is located in the midst of Mookambika wildlife sanctuary. The drive to the temple through the jungle is really scenic and peaceful. You will really enjoy the drive and the cool monsoon climate. You can also take a brief nature walk towards the Souparnika river which is flowing nearby. Monsoon is a great time to visit this place as the weather will be pleasant and there will be greenery all around.
You can also visit a nearby Baindur town which is almost 28 km away. There are many places of interest in Baindur town
Someshwara Beach - This beach is famous for large rocks on the beach called Rudra while. Also the view of the Netravati river winding its way to the sea through the mangroves is a beautiful sight
