When I was planning my stay in Singapore, I realized the location of my accommodation made a huge difference in term of convenience and time saving. The best area really depend on what I want to do and see, so here is my approach to find the best area according to my interest, 1) Marina Bay/ Downtown Core: If I wanted to be close to the attractions like Marina Bay, Garden by the Bay, Merlion and the Esplanade, staying in the area make everything just a short walk away or MRT ride away. 2) Orchard Road: For me the shopping was the priority, so staying in the orchard road made it super convenient. 3) Clark Quay: I love nightlife and riverside dining, so this area work well. Lively, lots of bars and restaurants and also allow the easy access to the Chinatown and Marina Bay. 4) Chinatown/ Little India/ Kampong Glam: If I wanted cultural experience, these areas were my go-to. Each has unique vibe, lots of street food, and historical landmarks. 5) Sentosa: For a more resort-style or if I planned to spend lot of time at Universal studios or beaches, Sentosa was ideal. My Tips: - I always pick a place near an MRT station because it makes the hopping across Singapore. - To save time searching for reliable serviced apartments, I check TheSqua.re. There support team help me to find the stay in prime location and based on my interest. If you like my answer please upvote.
