you can book a local tour operator there which wouldn't cost much
you will get the experience if travelling and exploring new place along with comfort of being in a known place(mainly due to people and food)

You could start by visiting any of the countries listed below: Srilanka, Singapore, Indonesia (bali), Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Bhutan, or Nepal.
These are very decent budget wise and there are tons of places and culture to explore as well. The flight costs to these countries (from India) is very low as well.
