Hi, can i still use 100,500,2000 INR in nepal ? even with exchange rates? for example if i am paying for food etc should i convert it and pay them ?
Nepalese rupee... but they accept Indian rupee also... But you can get exchange your inr to Nepalese rupee there itself at money exchange shops.

Indian currency is not accepted. You have to convert INR into NPR.

Indian currency is preferred over Nepali currency in Nepal.I have visited Lumbini, Pokhra and Kathmandu.
All currencies are accepted in nepal.

In Nepal ,we can easily use Indian currency every where.I have visited Lumbini,Pokhra, Katmandu and felt the Nepali region similar to India.Long live Indo-Nepal friend ship.
