East coast of India is covered by Bay of Bengal where Mahanadhi dekta stretches. This coast is known as Utkal plains where on the southern tip Cape comorin merges with Western coastal plains. West coast is where Arabian sea flows covered by Western ghats. This coast is where Gulf of Kutch and Gulf if khambat prevail. The north portion of this coast is called as Konkan while south side is called as Malabar. Hailing from Tamilnadu, Chennai being my hometown I would say East coast is my favourite.

West coast of india is much better in my opinion Maharashtra, goa, Gujarat, karnataka, kerela so many beautiful beaches & coastal culture.

One of the top vacation places along the East Coast is Block Island. You will like Block Island if you enjoy unwinding and taking in breathtaking sights. The greatest time to travel here is during the summer. A few hotels and inns are there.
