Well it depends on the definition of"cheap/inexpensive" South East Asian countries are pocket friendly if you plan and spend well. My suggestion would be to select a country which has a lower currency value than ours. Nepal is a beautiful option where you can visit it by Road (of you want to skip flight and save some money) Bali is exotic and you can really plan it well and do a trip of 7 days with a budget of INR 40-50 k per person.
Vietnam, Thailand, Bali, Philippines are countries with tourists flocking from all over the world.

It depends because if your planning coming months i suggest you Singapore and Malaysia its very cheap for packages go find on @Monkinshorts in Instagram they have beautiful packages to Bali under 20k for couples
