There are many beautiful places in Maharashtra, it offers almost everything from trekking to beautiful Lakes, it up to you what you want to explore. Mumbai or Pune for metro life Pune/Lonavala for trekking Mahabaleshwat to feel the Hill Caves in Aurangabad and many more places & some off beat places also

Maharashtra is the one of the biggest state in India. In that state, Mumbai,Nagpur, Pune, Aurangabad, Nasik and few more cities are very famous. I feel Pune is the best city in Maharashtra. Meditation resort, Karla Caves, Sinhagad fort, Dagaduseth Halwai Ganapati Temple, Aga Khan Palace,the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum are best tourist spots in Pune. And Pune is also famous for different kind of sweets.
