Post mid May to September You will be able to see almost fresh and good amount of snow if you visit in May, the roads start clearing out and open to most of the places in May as well as the Srinagar - Leh Highway opens somewhere around May. By the end of June it will be raining and the valley blooms to lush greenery everywhere. But mind you, June to Sept first week is the time you will be surrounded by tourist as its the peak season. Post Sept mid week you will be able to see the fall season in Kashmir which is beautiful.
