Punam I wish I could write even one place which is safest for women on this earth. Someone has mentioned US though recent data says that US has high rate of rape incidents. Being men is privilege they can travel without thinking about the sexual violence. I love sole woman travellers they inspire me; their tales their autobiographies talks about their fear of something wrong happening and how they conquered it. Their fear of someone following. I wish I could write even a single place you can travel like our counterpart. There was this book once I read "no nation for women". You can read another book "mera brand Azadi" written by solo woman traveller from Haryana.

Vietnam. people are friendly nice. Avoid cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi minhif you are gonna party and have a blast. but if you are planning backpacking (staying in backpacking hostels), you will meet the nicest people all around the world. I have stayed in Vietnam for 2 months it was great.
