The best way to explore a place is by walking. it is pocket friendly. for long distances however, one may opt for local transport options like autorickshaws, totos, etc.

As a traveller best mode of travelling depends on the no. of people and place. Local cabs or rental bikes can be good but if you are mire in number then public transport is awesome as you can have fun in them. If you are blogging then cab is the best way to travel. but sometimes you should travel in public transport too to tell people about that properly.

From comfort point of view, you can travel in a car or hire a taxi. It gives you the ease of stopping wherever you want, offering you the freedom to take rest as per your ease. From adventure point of view, nothing beats a bike ride across the winding routes of the Himalayas. Although it's difficult, but you can enjoy the cool breezes and be more in tune with the nature. From environmental point of view, it's best to travel in public vehicle such as bus or train. Not only are these mode of transports cheap, but they also allow tourists to not cause unnecessary traffic jams on the road, and makes sure that you don't cause much pollution, as might happen while travelling on your individual vehicles.

I love to travel by bike. But that was when i was young and without family. Nowadays we travel by car. We have a good car. When i say good i mean that it feets our needs. It is very comfortable for longer distance travel, kids have enough place on backseats so if they want to sleed there is no problem at all.
