Specifically for honeymoon, spend a day or two with your better half at the houseboat. The backwaters are just so romantic and breathtaking. There are specific places from where you can board the houseboat such as Karakorum boat jetty.
Also try out spending time at Mararikulam. Relax at the beach between the pine trees and early morning views. Fisherman taking out fishes the whole experience is so much amazing. To get the best try staying out in CGH property. Want to spend little less then try Abad or not try getting to the place in off-season. If visiting in monsoon then try out visiting Wayanad.

These are my top six locations in Kerala that any Indian can relate to, the places that lived through the eyes of Indian cinematographers. Remember the scene from the movie Bahubali? Or Abhishek Bachchan’s hideout in the movie Ravan. Same place where Aishwarya Rai danced to Barso re megha in the movie Guru. Location: Athirapally waterfalls, Trissur also known as the Niagra of India. Specialities: A forest trek.

Best season: Monsoon (June-November) 2. Kashmir Mein... Tu Kanyakumari... This song was shot at Munnar, the most exotic honeymoon destination in Kerala covered with tea estates, brooks, rivers, forest, national parks and hills. Specialities: Neelakurinji is a flower that blooms once in 12 years. When it blooms, it turns this entire valley purple in colour. Next season is in 2018.
Best Season: Throughout the year except summer(March-May) .3. Tu hi re.. the national love song of India from the movie Bombay. It was shot at the largest fort in Kerala, Bekal Fort. Specialities: An enchanting view of Arabian Sea.

Not a Part only, Complete Kerla is the Best for Honeymoon trip, Belive me Kerla is a very beautiful and Nature frendly State of South India. And it has about 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline.
