It's depends on You
wt kind of trip you want to do I will suggest you some interesting places just like 1) konkan in Maharashtra u can enjoy here many beaches, Fort's, and sea food's 2) Goa 3) Assam 4) Arunachal pradesh 5) Gangtok
You can visit Himachal Pradesh or Rajasthan in March as the weather conditions would be favourable and these two are the best states to visit for a unique experience.
I will suggest Rishikesh to Karnaprayag and further to Auli along the path of Alaknanda river would be the best option. The temperature in March even during the daytime is not much and a shirt will suffice even on a bike. You will get the best of both worlds here. Mountains will give you the special feel and when you wish to enjoy water and Beach all that you need to do is to descend to one of the many numerous white sand beaches formed by the mighty Alaknanda which is better than most searched beaches. The water is sweet unlike that of the sea and a dip in the water is so refreshing that it eradicates all the tiredness and makes you fresh and chirpy as a lark. Temples and tasty eateries are an add on. I went once and this has been my most memorable trip ever.
