Both routes have their own advantages and disadvantages, and the choice of route ultimately depends on your personal preferences and travel style. Here is a brief overview of each route: 1. Manali Route: This route is more popular among travelers as it offers stunning landscapes, adventurous roads, and a chance to explore Manali and its surroundings. The journey from Manali to Spiti is via the famous Rohtang Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges. However, the road conditions can be challenging, and the pass may be closed during the winter months due to heavy snowfall. 2. Shimla Route: This route is less popular but offers a more relaxed and scenic journey. The road from Shimla to Spiti passes through Kinnaur Valley and offers stunning views of the Himalayas, apple orchards, and ancient temples. The road conditions are better than the Manali route, and the pass remains open throughout the year. However, the journey can be longer and may not be suitable for those seeking an adventurous experience. In conclusion, if you are looking for a thrilling and adventurous journey with stunning landscapes, the Manali route is the way to go. But if you prefer a more relaxed and scenic journey, the Shimla route is a better option. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide which route to take based on your preferences and travel style.
