Goa seems to be a little home to the Russians. Although a lot of people around the globe are fascinated by the laid back and free-spiritedness of Goa, it still witnesses the highest number of Russian tourists, this may be due to a lot of reasons. *The main reason why Russians travel to Goa is due to its enjoyable and laidback nature. The rise in the economy and availability of Charter flights that land directly to Goa are also the apparent reasons of Russians flocking to this tiny state. It is a known fact that in terms of living and affordability, Goa is a much better place and people of Goa are the most hospitable in the world. *Russians visit Goa often as tourists to escape the harsh weather conditions in their native and also attend the big music festivals and rave parties that Goa is known for. The hidden motive as to why the Russians are attracted to these parties is due to the availability of drugs, alcohol, and sex. *A large percentage of Russian tourists consist of restless youth who visit Goa for obtaining drugs. And another portion of them consists of people coming to Goa to escape the societal norms and search for inner peace.     Cheap holiday destination, great food, booze, warm climate, beaches...drugs and psychedelic. There is a place off vagator beach which has been swamped by Russians and they don't allow any localites or tourist to even enter their territory.
