This may be due to winters and the foggy cool and picturesque vibe it creates in lush green area and river hotels

Hi Rishabh! This is the best month if you are planning to visit the high altitude places in Kerala, like Wayanad, Munnar, Wagamon, etc. The landscapes will be lush green and weather will be completely chill and foggy. Also, you would be able to witness the amazing decorations and activities during Christmas/New Year's Eve if you plan to travel around that time. Some of the best spots for that are, Fort Kochi Area in Kochi and Varkala in Trivandrum! But, be sure to book in advance as there are chances of huge influx of tourists during this month. Hope you have a great trip!

The temperature is so soothing at that time of the year there.Plus half the people are there in Goa or Himachal, so you'll get a little less ppl there.

It is fun to travel only when the weather is a bit soothing which is why December is the best time to travel. Also,in a place like Kerala you must take long walks to explore the scenic beauty and take up outdoor activies. All of this can be enjoyable in winters only.

Thanks, this is what I was looking for, because I also thought monsoons would be better for visiting any green place.
The winters in Kerala is an inexplicable marvel. This is the time of the year when the least rainfall is recorded and you can whiff at purity. Apparently, winter has been recorded as the best time to visit Kerala for its mild-mannered non-biting winters that offer a wide range of things to do during your travel. he average temperature in winters ranges to 32 degrees in the day to about 23 degrees at night. In both cases, your trip will be an amusing one as it marks the best time for uninterrupted sightseeing and for all other ‘Kerala must-do’s’
