I personally recommend you to do river rafting and bungee jumping in Rishikesh if you are adventure freak person.
Both are at its best in india

Rajaji national park, Mansa devi temple, triveni ghat and other temples located nearby. This is for haridwar and for rishikesh you can visit ram jhula, laxman jhula and parmarth gath aarti. Also do not forget to try out the local cuisine.
