Well I would prefer neither. I would love to have a road trip to Spiti🙂 Moreover hitch hike is a little tough in Spiti I believe.

Not really, if you study the region well, it's not tough.

You can take HPTDC bus service..you can reach kaza via bus from kullu..

But it's more convenient to take a bus from Shimla and then from Kaza to Manali via Rohtang and Kunzum La. The complete circuit.
