Hey Neethu I will suggest you to Don't Apply through online site better you go directly to shillong from Guwahati airport, it will take 2-3hrs from Guwahati airport and after reaching at Shillong you can take the rest at hotel and after that you book a cab if you're going in group.sone places I will suggest you to visit in Shillong are:- Cherapunjee which is 1hrs from main city of Shillong, krang-suri waterfalls which is in jowai, Jaintia hills its like 84Km fron main city and fron there you can visit to dawki river and you can find the crystal clear water of river. apart from that you can also visit Asia's cleanest village Mawphlong. as well as laitlum, elephant falls, Golf course and Umniam lake, Barapani, Guwahati-Shillong road.

Gokarna is a place to be enjoyed for its peacefulness... for new year it would be hard to find accomodation as very few places offer online booking and maximum bookings for stay can be done only after visiting the place, advisable dates should be 2 weeks before or after new year, around full moon. thats my suggestion. however you can still plan it if things work out for you.

Hi,
March is not the ideal time to visit Maasai Mara. Since that is when monsoon occurs in the region, frequent thunderstorms take place that can make travelling difficult. Although the place comes alive due to the showers and is provides a beautiful sight to behold, very few travellers choose to plan a visit in March. It is recommended that you go through the itineraries and guides of fellow travellers who have been to Maasai Mara before you plan your own trip. Attaching a few below. Hope this helps!
