The route and places can be as: auckland- waitomo - rotorua- wellingston- kaikoura- christchurch- Queenstown- glacier region - Christchurch the entire pkg cost can be around - 5L
also self driving in NZ is a good option if you have international driving licence

No, -flights are normally late. -flight attendants are not that trained. (limitation of language) -ground staff is not that supportive. -Quality of Meals served is poor. So, overall service is not worth your money. Still if you are left with no other choices only then go for it.

Yes its a great island for bird watching,boat ride,bonfire and a lot of activities to do amidst the bountiful island.

Go for day tours keep apple+spoon+water for odd time munching and to avoid outside carbonated drinks/packed/oily junks food for the kid. I did the same.

U can visit zostel Ooty where ur stay will cost minimal which is RS 650 for 8-bed sharing dorms

If it's two day plan I would say to plan for Cherrapunji and Dawki river. Stay in Shillong from there you can book taxi to book the places.
Day 1: Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shillong
place to see Elephant Falls. On reaching Cherrapunjee you can visit Arwah Cave, Noh-Ka-Likai Falls, Mawsmai Cave.
Day 2 : Shillong - Dawki - Shillong
Visit cleanest village in Asia- Mawlynnong. On reaching Mawlynnong you can visit The Village, Balancing Rock and Living Root Bridge. Later drive to Dawki. Here you can enjoy boating in the crystal clear river Umngot. Later visit the Indo-Bangladesh border.
Note : If your total trip is only for two days then you can plan as per Day 2.

Chandrashila is an easy to moderate with some steep climbs. It attains maximum altitude of 12.080 ft/ 3680 mtrs with total trekking distance of 30km. It can be done is genrally done in 5 days but can also be done in 4 days. You will have views of Nanda Devi. Bandarpooch, Chaukhamba, Trishul and several other peaks from Chandrashila. Whether you are going to Chandrashila with some travel agency or doing it solo you will have to reach Haridwar by your own. Haridwar is major city properly connected from all the major nearby. Itenary:-
Day 1 :- 7-8 hours drive from Haridwar to Sari. Sari is a beautiful hill station with decent staying options available within reasonable price. Here mobile connectivity will not be an issue.
Day 2:- 3km trek from Sari to Deoriatal(7,800 ft). Deorital is a small lake with super views of Himalayan peaks. No network from here on wards. Water will not be available in this route.
Day 3:- 16 km trek from Deoriatal to Baniyakund(8,700 ft) via Rohini Bugyal. Ground water will be available at 1 or 2 place.
Day 4:- 3 km drive from Baniyakund to Chopta then total of 8 km trek from Chopta to Chandrashila and back to Baniyakund. 360 degree view of Nandadevi, Kamet, Dronagiri, Kedar dome, Thalaysagar, Gangotri ranges, Jahanukut etc is amazing.
Day 5:- 8 hours drive from Baniyakund to Haridwar. If you are travelling solo better book in advance as there are not connectivity between. We would recommend you to go with some travel agency because weather is not predictable in mountains and without proper preparation it can be an issue.They will also provide you timely food and keep check on you health. Also they have their toilet tents so will not have to search for places around to litter. Focus on your health, start running, do proper research for required things to carry.

You can try zostel varanasi or any other backpackers. They are cheap yet hygienic.

Yeah boarding can help us understand which route you are taking to reach himachal pradesh. But if you are traveling from New delhi bus terminus then you have to buy a ticket either for SHIMLA or for MANALI. The route journey is very hectic but you will remember it for life long. These are the only two junctions from where you can reach Kaza (headquarter of Spiti Valley) and Lahul is just 20-22 km away from Spiti valley.

The climate in Singapore is almost the same throughout the year.. There is slightly more rainfall in November n December.. If you go in Feb.. you will be able to attend the Chinese New Year celebrations.. For cheap tickets.. approach a travel agency called Sea wheel travels in People Park Centre Mall in Chinatown.. they provide discounted tickets for popular tourist attractions...
