Hey Avinash, There are many attractions in Coorg .... Coorg is a must destination when it comes to tourism in Karnataka as it's nearer to Bangalore... it's always better to plan ahead to visit this place.... For stay options :- I would suggest you to stay in Madikeri center only as it's accessible and also you have got lot of options of stay here ... River Rafting in Cauvery river Day 3 :- Iruppu falls Nagarhole national park Mode of transportation :- Car :- Hiring a car for 2k per day basis is the best mode if you are around 4 people ... As it's a hilly region it's better to sit back and enjoy roads ... Bike :- Royal brothers give bikes on rent from Dio to Yamaha Fz ... If you are two this is best as you can get bike for 1k per day and rest is all as your plan as you can come back to hotel room.and rest as per your convenience... Bus:- Private buses and state buses ply to Cauvery Nisargadhama, golden temple in kushalnagar, Bhagamandala and sirimangala (bus stop nearer to Iruppu) ... From all bus stands you get a auto to reach the destination ... So Coorg is a must visit destination in ones life ... Hi Preeti, I believe if you have the zeal to do, nothing is impossible.
The most important thing I believe for venturing in solo trip is to ensure you organise yourself in a better manner.
Ensuring you do the location research pretty well and making sure that the location you picked is solo female friendly.
I have done a solo trip to Himachal for 10 days and also in Tarkarli for 4 days.
I ensured that itinerary is well planned and the places selected are good. If you plan to go to Himachal or Tarkarli, I can suggest you places which may help.

I see you are from delhi so you can start small for some near by places like manali , kasol , jaipur , udaipur.
Make proper travel arrangements and if you are going to self drive better do it in day lights.. As far as safety is concerned it's in our own hands to be vigilant. Himachal and Rajasthan are both safe places so Happy solo trips :)

Hampi is an offbeat travel destination and just perfect for those are fascinated about heritage sites. Do visit the famous Virupaksha Temple for its magnificent architecture. Head to Matanga Hill to get mesmerized by one of the best sunrise and sunset view in Hampi. You also enjoy sunrise and sunset scenes from the rooftop of Veerbhadra Temple.

Their is one place in Maharashtra is called Malvan.
nearest railway station is Kudal 35 km you can enjoy the best scuba diving & Snorkeling ,boating to Nevti island too. You can do in Goa also

If you are passionate about palaces and forts , Jaipur is one of the best place to visit. Must visit places include Amber fort, City palace, Nahargarh fort. These are the prominent ones. Also there is a very lake in Jaipur - Man Sagar Lake. In the middle of the lake is the Jal Mahal. The place is a treat to watch at night.

It is absolutely safe to travel around the Goa as most of places are much crowded all the time.

A package to the iconic Taj Mahal. The symbol of love, apt for a couple i am guessing. Or you could look at the backwaters of Kerala.
