It's really nice,
but it will also be very very cold, so prepare accordingly.
And don't forget to check the updates about the roads.
As many times road is obstructed by snow.
Temperature in Manali can dip to 50C in the day time to -90C in the night. So there is no other choice other than getting packed with all the warm clothing in December here. The climate remains cloudy during this whole month. At any time the weather can bring lots of snow so do not take it in light manner.
Hello Akash, Uttarakhand is a well-commercialised state with fine roads. You can easily travel to Uttarakhand by car, whether personal or on hire. Also, if you are planning to self-drive, make sure you're a very good driver for hilly roads. Choose a car with a powerful engine. Prefer using Diesel ones and any hatch car will make your trip easier. Do not overload the passengers while taking your car to Uttarakhand because of the hilly terrain. Also, the wisest way is to keep yourself out of unknown roads and risk-prone conditions to avoid troubles. Hope you have a safe and happy trip!
Hello Nazmul, Dawki is one of the most beautiful and clean rivers in India. Best time would be the early or late winters, i.e. Late Oct, entire Nov, entire Feb, March.
The best time to visit Switzerland is during the shoulder seasons, between April and June, and September to October, when the weather is at best, and there aren’t too many tourists.
Best time to visit Switzerland is between April and June even September and October are good months to visit but it will be cold enough . temperature wil be around 12-15 degrees and in high altitude areas it will be more chilled around 4-5 degree.
Hi,
December is a good time to visit Auli. However, it is suggested you visit the place at the end of December as the chances of snowfall during this time are higher. If you are lucky enough, you might experience snow early in the month but it usually doesn't happen.
11th nov is too early for snowfall.
Usually you can witness a snowfall in dec end and early jan.
And places like chopta, auli, kausani, deoriatal, kedarkantha, Nag tibba are some of the many where you can witness snowfall
The North is by far more crowded that the South. If you’re dead against crowded party areas and are on of the people who think “Goa won’t be the real India” then you’ll most likely prefer the South. The South is actually better for backpackers as you don’t have crazy crowds, can chill in quiet jungle, take cooking classes and other classes, and feel like you are somewhere from a movie. The North has so many tourists here both international and Indian, that it’s way overcrowded. It is this way because almost all the best things to do/see are in the North. Also, the famous Anjuna Market and Saturday Night Market are all in North Goa. And while there are parties in the South, I would say at least 95% of the massive parties are in North Goa. There are a few places in the South that have parties on the weekends, but not only are they smaller you have less options on where to go out. Hope it helped Happy Traveling!
