Hi, Road Trips are always a great experience. Have done the east costal route on bike few time back. If you are taking the coastal route via Visakhapatnam - Chilika-cuttack- Balasore- Kharagpur- Kolkata-Bardhaman - Faraka-Islampur-Siliguri. You will enjoy the route, however not sure if the constructions are completed or not between Balasore to Khargpur. Construction was in full swing when I was riding from Sikkim to Vizag. You can enjoy place like Gopalpur Beach, Chilika Lake, Dhauli, by taking little diversion can visit Puri & Konark on this route. Also can drop in Digha as well as Shantiniketan if taking some small diversion from main route. Chandipur is another calm and composed beach in Bay of Bengal you can visit if passing Balasore during day time which is around 25KM from your highway. Else you may take route via Nagpur Lucknow Garakhpur this route will provide you pure city and highway experience. You are asking advise regarding what? Should you take this road trip or not in regards to covid guidelines? If that's the question, WB Govt allowing tourist with negative RTPCR so no worries and Siliguri is a beautiful city and gateway to North East Himalayan range, from where you can also visit Darjleeng Sikkim and many other north eastern destination. Must go through the Mahananda National Park near Sevak you probably like the scenic route there, if you visiting Siliguri. So you should visit and enjoy your road trip. Happy Traveling :) See You on the Road...👌👌
Yes, you can subject to the 2nd dose should be 14 days prior to your entry date in to Goa. This the recent update in last week. HC modified its order and allowed fully vaccinated people to enter the state. Who are fully vaccinated, post 14 days of their second dose, can enter Goa without an RT-PCR negative test or a rapid antigen test. Thank You
Hello Avishek, based on my travel experience I can suggest you to visit Gangtok, Sikkim. From there on you can visit Tsomgo Lake also referred to as Changu Lake , Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, Nathula Pass, Yumthang Valley, Pelling, Gurudongmar Lake. Try to book the tour for these places from a reliable tour agent which you will come across in M.G road market , Gangtok. However just FYI, visiting to all these places is subject to one big factor which is the amount of Snowfall during the time of your visit because you will need permits to visit these places and even if you get those, there are still chances your visit will get cancelled if the snowfall is too heavy. Plan accordingly and Enjoy. 😊
Northeast means all seven sisters and Sikkim.Divide into the stats and explore.Keep plenty of time in hand .you get to see flora and fauna and fauna of this region.
I was actually planning for a workation there, and I found that this is actually a great time to visit Mcleodganj. If you are touring there for just a few days, you can avail travel packages for triund trek. I would also recommend the following places...
1. Lam dal lake
2. Ghera Waterfalls
3. Laka Glacier
4. Shepherd's cave
Hi Adarshjit, According to my knowledge, Ladakh gets snowfall from October to February and Kashmir gets snowfall from December to March. Hope this helps!
Regards, Senneil
The winter season in Ladakh starts from October and continues till February. During this time, the entire region receives snowfall. Places like Kargil experience harsh winters, while Drass becomes one of the coldest places in the world.
Namaste Sharad! Sharad destination depends on your interest. I mean which type of traveller are you, I mean do you like to travel hills, mountains, beaches, forest, desert, temples etc. You need to decide first which type of destination do you want to visit then check your budget and time. How many days do you want to travel, how much expenses your pocket will allow. Check the destination distance from your current location how far is it. If you are beginner then start travelling known places where you will get all the facility later on when you feel comfort then you can go mid to high risk zone.
