It actually depends on what type of solo trip you need. If you want one of peace and relaxation, I'd suggest you go to Rishikesh. It's an amazing place in Uttarakhand. They even have activities like camping over there. The atmosphere over there is of oneness with nature. The music is soothing and the food is amazing. Hope you enjoy your trip.

If you are someone who like party and everythung,North Goa should be on your wishlist. but if you are someone who just needs to relax , enjoy the pristine beaches of Goa , then you should definatelu move towards South Goa. My personal Favourite has to Be South Goa. Hotels which I recommend : North Goa - I Love Bell Bottoms. South Goa - Majestic Beach Comforts,Varca. You should definately check out Thalassa for some amazing time. Have a visit to Live Passion Karma for parties and dont forget to enjoy some river cruise.

Hey Megha, Make a prebooking of the hotel either with OYO or MMT if you are going during new year eve as at that time it is difficult to get a hotel. For the cheap accommodation, you can also book zostels or hostels at www.hostelworld.com. Pack winter clothes like Woollen cap, thermals, woollen socks, gloves, good quality shoes, jackets, woollen sweater, moisturizer etc. Happy travelling!!!!!
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Megha, You can book your hotels with booking.com. If you are planing to stay at Rishikesh I recommend Shiv Shakti Hostel, staff is friendly, affordable, very close to laxman Jhula and Tera manzil Temple (Trimbakeshwar Temple). I suggest you to look for weather forecast and pack your stuffs. You can take warm cloths, comfortable pair of shoes, take one Indian outfit since you are visiting temples, and doing ganga arthi (Even though there is no dress code in temples). Have fun!.
