Doddamane is located in the heart of the city, that is the best place to stay, but only thing is you need to call them and tell that you will be coming well in advance, so here is their phone number - 081812 33075, and one more is mallya residency opposite to agumbe busstand, so i have attached their number as well - 0124 620 1618, happy travelling !! :)

You will get all the trekking equipments in the Sankri village itself.Trek leader will tell you to rent it before starting the trek.Say for example, you will get the trekking stick for Rs 50 per day,shoe for Rs 300-350.
Never under estimate the use of trekking tick and shoe.Its a must unless you have the decathlon kind of trekking shoe or stick.
You will understand the use of shoe once you are in snow.

Honestly the trek rates aren't that high. It does seem expensive but the truth is it's not that expensive if you have gears.
To start with if you haven't been on any trek yet try visiting some small treks. If you are from Mumbai or anywhere in Maharashtra then you are sitting in middle of the Trekking state!! You can choose any good trek from here.
Later you can get yourself enrolled with any trek groups such as IndiaHikes or KailashRath or many others who arrange treks for North for under 15k including stay and food (obviously)
My recent trek to Himachal costed me 26k overall including roundtrip flights to Delhi and roundtrip buses to Kasol.

Dear No need to worry!! You have choosen a great place for your new year... Kasool is paradise for solo travellers... Roads are clear and safe even if snowfall is there!! Kasool is small town but you will find lot of trance parties booming music parties... Entry will cost you around 2000 Indian rupees in these kind of events some of them offer unlimited liqure!! But don't forget to book your hotel before 20th of December as mostly hotels and camping tants become around 50 to 60%more expansive... If you are going by your own car or bike you can stay in manikarna that is around 5 kilometers... Staying in manikarna can save your food expanses as there is manikarna gurudwara shahib and the langar is so tasty there.. You can also stay in gurudwara shahib for free(do some seva) there are 300 rooms available....

Which part west or east? If you wanna explore Annapurna Range & Wildlife Sanctuary you go west. If you wanna enter into Everest Region from Kathmandu then you go east.
From Delhi you will find a direct flight to kahtmandu. 13K INR for a return ticket. Further you can use public or private transport in Nepal as per your convenience

Tugnath is closed during winters and open when badrinath open,around April or May...best time to go chandrashila trek is in early or mid October...as it's got foggy in summers so you cant have any view...in winters it's is too cold or paths are blocked from snowfall.

Hello Tejas i am also planning for chopta and tungnath from delhi. So best way to reach tungnath is take a bus from kashmeri gate to haridwar or rishikesh try to reach as early as possible then take another bus to rudrprayag or ukhimath. Then you have to take the taxi to chopta. Its an amazing place and the view is awsome during witers. Please share your reviews after your trip.

Yes they do not allow solo permits. You may get in touch with an agent however, who can club you with other group for the permit. If you are worried about the costs for booking an agent (as they will offer you an entire package), just ask them to book the hotels for you, which you can choose online and let them know. Permit and immigration will be taken care by them.
Alternatively: If you are entering by road (the Phuentsholing border), stay overnight in Phuentsholing (doesn't need a permit). Ask the hotel authorities to help you out or go to the immigration and find your own group, with similar itinerary to club with for immigration purpose.

There won't be any issues for solo travellers travelling to Bhutan in getting tourist permit in December 2019. However, tourism authorities in Bhutan have decided to charge Indian tourists travelling to Bhutan for the tourist permit soon, which is a mandatory document for foreign nationals entering into Bhutan. The date from when this charge will come into effect has not been finalised yet.
