Hey Parth! The festival has NOT been shut. The 2020 edition is yet to happen. Here's all you should know about it: Date of Event : 10 Mar 2020 The Elephant Festival Jaipur is organised according to the Indian calendar on the full moon day of Phalgun Purnima (February/March), this day also coincides with day of Holika Dahan. Most of the events/fairs/festivals entry is free. Jaipur is usually drenched in the colourful vibes of Holi during this time and you can get some great photos of the place at this time. The major attractions of the festival are elephant polo and elephant dances. The Elephant festival also features the tug-of-war game between an elephant and 19 men and women. In the end, the best-decorated elephant gets an award. Live concerts with traditional dances and music complete the festive atmosphere. Most events of the festival take place at the Rajasthan Polo Ground. The event is free to attend, so mind that the crowds could be rather large. Hope this answers your question!
I would suggest during August mid to Sept mid. During this period it doesn't snow and the temperature is also acceptable. The probability of land slide is less in case you worry they would would spoil your plans.
There are many places , for example Jaipur is around 280 km. Agra is around 220 km. garh mukteshwar is nearby 120 km. Shimla is around 350 km. mussoori is around 290 km. now you have to decide how much far you wanna go and what place you wanna explore, for example mountains, wild life, forest region, Rajasthan. if you need anymore information you can ask me. thank you.

Hello Arun, Snorkelling is available in Pattaya as well as Phuket. Both of the destinations have good options for watersports and reasonable prices for Snorkelling. Thus, you can go for any of then when it comes to snorkelling. Concerning the second question, you can travel from Pattaya to Phuket via flight, bus, train or rather take a ferry for a different experience. Travelling by road can be tiresome as the distance between both the destinations is 970 km. Talking about where to stay in Phuket, picking the right destination is a must. Phuket is a beautiful city with a lot of beaches and different options for accommodation. You can choose to stay near Patong Beach, Kata Beach, Karon Beach, Kamala Beach, Bangtao Beach, Mai Khao Beach and the list goes on. Depending on the budget, choice of property, duration, surroundings and other factors, you can check out the best hotels and resorts in Phuket on Tripoto. I would say Phuket, cleaner water. For accommodation, we stayed at Patong mansion hotel and I highly recommend them. It’s not the one for people wanting luxury but we had great value for money considering the customer service, spread of breakfast, location and the cute rooftop swimming pool
